Surface Quality Comparison
Compared to conventional CNC, the improper cutting force will leave deep traces on the product surface, which may require more fine finishing process after roughing. With ultrasonic high-frequency vibration reduce cutting resistance and slightly remove materials, surface quality could be enhanced.
*The measurement is under the inspection of microscope 300X.

Non-Ultrasonic Machined Surface

HIT Ultrasonic Machined Surface

Highlights of HIT Ultrasonic Module :
  • Greater Surface Quality, surface roughness(Ra) reduced from 0.461 μm to 0.288μm ( down to 33%)
